* That no man should be moved by these afflictions : (note :)The will of God , who calls his own on this condition , to bring them to glory by affliction , is a most sure remedy against all afflictions .(:note ) for yourselves know that we are appointed thereunto . * For verily when we were with you , we told you before that we should suffer tribulations , euen as it came to passe , and ye knowe it .
