* He is proud (5769 ), knowing (5740 ) nothing , but doting (5723 ) about questions and strifes of words , whereof cometh (5736 ) envy , strife , railings , evil surmisings , * Perverse disputings of men of corrupt (5772 ) minds , and destitute (5772 ) of the truth , supposing (5723 ) that gain is (5750 ) godliness : from such withdraw thyself (5737 ). * But godliness with contentment is (5748 ) great gain . * For we brought (5656 ) nothing into this world , and it is certain we can (5736 ) carry nothing out (5629 ). * And having (5723 ) food and raiment let us be therewith content (5701 ). * But they that will (5740 ) be rich (5721 ) fall (5719 ) into temptation and a snare , and into many foolish and hurtful lusts , which drown (5719 ) men in destruction and perdition . * For the love of money is (5748 ) the root of all evil : which while some coveted after (5734 ), they have erred (5681 ) from the faith , and pierced themselves through (5656 ) with many sorrows .
