* For though I should boast (5667 ) somewhat more of our authority , which the Lord hath given (5656 ) us for edification , and not for your destruction , I should not be ashamed (5701 ): * That I may not seem (5661 ) as if I would terrify (5721 ) you by letters . * For his letters , say they (5748 ), are weighty and powerful ; but his bodily presence is weak , and his speech contemptible (5772 ). * Let such an one think (5737 ) this , that , such as we are (5748 ) in word by letters when we are absent (5752 ), such will we be also in deed when we are present (5752 ).
