* For , when we were come (5631 ) into Macedonia , our flesh had (5758 ) no rest , but we were troubled (5746 ) on every side ; without were fightings , within were fears . * Nevertheless God , that comforteth (5723 ) those that are cast down , comforted (5656 ) us by the coming of Titus ; * And not by his coming only , but by the consolation wherewith he was comforted (5681 ) in you , when he told (5723 ) us your earnest desire , your mourning , your fervent mind toward me ; so that I rejoiced (5646 ) the more . * For though I made you sorry (5656 ) with a letter , I do not repent (5736 ), though I did repent (5711 ): for I perceive (5719 ) that the same epistle hath made you sorry (5656 ), though it were but for a season .
