* That ye may be mindful (5683 ) of the words which were spoken before (5772 ) by the holy prophets , and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour : * Knowing (5723 ) this first , that there shall come (5695 ) in the last days scoffers , walking (5740 ) after their own lusts , * And saying (5723 ), Where is (5748 ) the promise of his coming ? for since the fathers fell asleep (5681 ), all things continue (5719 ) as they were from the beginning of the creation .
