Acts:10:1-11




rkjnt@Acts:10:1 @ There was a certain man in Caesarea named Cornelius, a centurion of what was called the Italian cohort,

rkjnt@Acts:10:2 @ A devout man, and one who feared God with all his house, and he gave many alms to the people, and prayed to God always.

rkjnt@Acts:10:3 @ About the ninth hour of the day he saw in a vision an angel of God coming in to him, and saying to him, Cornelius.

rkjnt@Acts:10:4 @ And when he looked on him, he was afraid, and said, What is it, Lord? And he said to him, Your prayers and your alms have come up as a memorial before God.

rkjnt@Acts:10:5 @ Now send men to Joppa, and bring back one Simon, whose surname is Peter:

rkjnt@Acts:10:6 @ He lodges with Simon, a tanner, whose house is by the sea.

rkjnt@Acts:10:7 @ And when the angel who spoke to Cornelius had departed, he called two of his household servants, and a devout soldier from among those who waited upon him continually;

rkjnt@Acts:10:8 @ And when he had explained all these things to them, he sent them to Joppa.

rkjnt@Acts:10:9 @ On the next day, as they went on their journey, and drew near to the city, Peter went up upon the housetop to pray, about the sixth hour:

rkjnt@Acts:10:10 @ And he became very hungry, and wanted to eat: but while they were making ready, he fell into a trance,

rkjnt@Acts:10:11 @ And saw heaven opened, and something descending, like a great sheet, let down by four corners to the earth:
