* And the Cornelius said : From four days till this the hour , I was fasting , and the ninth hour praying in the house of me ; and lo , a man , stood before me in clothing shining , * and he said : O Cornelius , heard of thee the prayer , and the alms of thee are remembered before the God . * Send therefore into Joppa , and call for Simon who is surnamed Peter ; he lodges in a house of Simon a tanner by sea .; who having come will speak to thee .
