* And as John fulfilled (5707 ) his course , he said (5707 ), Whom think ye (5719 ) that I am (5750 )? I am (5748 ) not he . But , behold (5628 ), there cometh one (5736 ) after me , whose shoes of his feet I am (5748 ) not worthy to loose (5658 ). * Men and brethren , children of the stock of Abraham , and whosoever among you feareth (5740 ) God , to you is the word of this salvation sent (5648 ). * For they that dwell (5723 ) at Jerusalem , and their rulers , because they knew him not (5660 ), nor yet the voices of the prophets which are read (5746 ) every sabbath day , they have fulfilled (5656 ) them in condemning (5660 ) him . * And though they found (5631 ) no cause of death in him , yet desired they (5668 ) Pilate that he should be slain (5683 ). * And when they had fulfilled (5656 ) all that was written (5772 ) of him , they took him down (5631 ) from the tree , and laid (5656 ) him in a sepulchre .
