* And it came to pass at Iconium , that they went both together into the synagogue of the Jews , and spoke in such a manner that a great multitude , both of the Jews and of the Greeks , believed . * But the unbelieving Jews stirred up the minds of the Gentiles , and filled them with malignity against the brethren . * They , however , staid there a considerable time , speaking boldly for the Lord ; who gave attestation to the word of his grace , and granted signs and miracles to be done by their hands . * So the multitude of the city was divided ; and some were with the Jews , and others with the Apostles . * But , as a violent attempt was made , both by the Gentiles and Jews , with their rulers , to assault and stone them ; * they , having received intelligence of it , fled to Lystra , and Derbe , cities of Lycaonia , and to the adjacent country : * and there they declared the glad tidings .
