Acts:15:36-16:10
mkjv@Acts:15:36 @ And some days afterward, Paul said to Barnabas, Let us go again and visit our brothers in every city where we have announced the Word of the Lord, to see] how they are holding to it.
mkjv@Acts:15:37 @ And Barnabas determined to take with [them] John, he being called Mark.
mkjv@Acts:15:38 @ But Paul thought it well not to take that one with [them], he having withdrawn from them from Pamphylia, and did not go with them to the work.
mkjv@Acts:15:39 @ Then there was sharp feeling, so as to separate them from each other. And taking Mark, Barnabas sailed to Cyprus.
mkjv@Acts:15:40 @ But choosing Silas, Paul went out, being commended by the brothers to the grace of God,
mkjv@Acts:15:41 @ passing through Syria and Cilicia, making the churches strong.
mkjv@Acts:16:1 @ And he came to Derbe and Lystra. And behold, a certain disciple named Timothy was there, [the] son of a woman who was a Jewess and who believed. But [his] father [was] a Greek.
mkjv@Acts:16:2 @ [He] was well reported of by the brothers at Lystra and Iconium.
mkjv@Acts:16:3 @ Paul wanted him to go with him, and taking [him he] circumcised him, because of the Jews who were in those places; for they all knew that his father was a Greek.
mkjv@Acts:16:4 @ And as they passed through the cities, they delivered to them the commandments to keep, the ones that were ordained by the apostles and elders in Jerusalem.
mkjv@Acts:16:5 @ Then indeed the churches were established in the faith and increased in number daily.
mkjv@Acts:16:6 @ And coming through the Phrygian and the Galatian region; and by the Holy Spirit being forbidden to speak the Word in Asia;
mkjv@Acts:16:7 @ having come to Mysia, they attempted to go into Bithynia. But the Spirit did not allow them.
mkjv@Acts:16:8 @ Then passing by Mysia, they came down into Troas.
mkjv@Acts:16:9 @ And a vision appeared to Paul in the night. A certain man of Macedonia stood, begging him, saying, Come over into Macedonia and help us!
mkjv@Acts:16:10 @ And after he saw the vision, we immediately tried to go into Macedonia, gathering that the Lord had called us in order to preach the gospel [to] them.
