* For a certain man named Demetrius , a silversmith , which made (5723 ) silver shrines for Diana , brought (5710 ) no small gain unto the craftsmen ; * Whom he called together (5660 ) with the workmen of like occupation , and said (5627 ), Sirs , ye know (5736 ) that by this craft we have (5748 ) our wealth . * Moreover ye see (5719 ) and hear (5719 ), that not alone at Ephesus , but almost throughout all Asia , this Paul hath persuaded (5660 ) and turned away (5656 ) much people , saying (5723 ) that they be (5748 ) no gods , which are made (5740 ) with hands : * So that not only this our craft is in danger (5719 ) to be set (5629 ) at nought ; but also that the temple of the great goddess Diana should be despised (5683 ), and her magnificence should (5721 ) be destroyed (5745 ), whom all Asia and the world worshippeth (5736 ). * And when they heard (5660 ) these sayings , they were (5637 ) full of wrath , and cried out (5707 ), saying (5723 ), Great is Diana of the Ephesians .
