* And when they were come (5633 ) to him , he said (5627 ) unto them , Ye know (5736 ), from the first day that I came (5627 ) into Asia , after what manner I have been (5633 ) with you at all seasons , * Serving (5723 ) the Lord with all humility of mind , and with many tears , and temptations , which befell (5631 ) me by the lying in wait of the Jews : * And how I kept back (5668 ) nothing that was profitable (5723 ) unto you , but have shewed (5658 ) you , and have taught (5658 ) you publickly , and from house to house , * Testifying (5740 ) both to the Jews , and also to the Greeks , repentance toward God , and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ .
