*
And as it was determined that we should set sail into Italy ,
they delivered Paul ,
and some other prisoners ,
to a centurions of the Augustan Band ,
whose name was Julius .
*
And going on board a ship of Adramyttis ,
we weighed anchor ,
intending to sail by the coasts of Asia ;
Aristarchus ,
a Macedonian ,
of Thessalonica ,
being with us .
*
And the next day we reached Sidon :
and Julius ,
treating Paul with great humanity ,
permitted him to go to his friends ,
and to enjoy the benefit of their care .
*
And weighing anchor thence ,
we sailed under Cyprus ,
because the winds were contrary .
*
And sailing through the sea over against Cilicia and Pamphylia ,
we came to Myra ,
a city of Lycia .
*
And there ,
the centurion ,
finding a ship of Alexandria ,
bound for Italy ,
put us on board of it .
*
And when we had sailed slowly for several days ,
and were hardly got over against Cnidus ,
the wind now permitting us ;
we sailed under Crete ,
over against Salmone :
*
and passing it with difficulty ,
we came to a certain place called the Fair Havens ,
in the neighborhood of which ,
was the city of Lasea .
