* who , coming down , prayed concerning them in order that they might receive the Holy Spirit . * For He had not yet fallen upon any of them , but they had only been baptized in the name of Christ Jesus . * Then they laid hands upon them , and they received the Holy Spirit . * Now when Simon observed that by the laying on of the apostles ' hands the Holy Spirit was given , he offered them money , * saying , "Give me this power also , that on whom ever I lay my hands he may receive the Holy Spirit ."
