* If ye then be risen (5681 ) with Christ , seek (5720 ) those things which are above , where Christ sitteth (5748 ) (5740 ) on the right hand of God . * Set your affection (5720 ) on things above , not on things on the earth . * For ye are dead (5627 ), and your life is hid (5769 ) with Christ in God . * When Christ , who is our life , shall appear (5686 ), then shall ye also appear (5701 ) with him in glory . * Mortify (5657 ) therefore your members which are upon the earth ; fornication , uncleanness , inordinate affection , evil concupiscence , and covetousness , which is (5748 ) idolatry : * For which things sake the wrath of God cometh (5736 ) on the children of disobedience : * In the which ye also walked (5656 ) some time , when ye lived (5707 ) in them . * But now ye also put off (5640 ) all these ; anger , wrath , malice , blasphemy , filthy communication out of your mouth . * Lie (5732 ) not one to another , seeing that ye have put off (5666 ) the old man with his deeds ; * And have put on (5671 ) the new man , which is renewed (5746 ) in knowledge after the image of him that created (5660 ) him :
