* But God being rich in mercy , through his great love with which he loved us , * even us , who were dead in trespasses , he has made alive together with Christ ; (by favor you are saved ;) * and has raised us up together , and has set us down together in heavenly places with Christ Jesus ; * that he might show , in the ages to come , the exceeding riches of his favor in his kindness toward us by Christ Jesus .
