* But fornication , and all uncleanness , or covetousness , let it not be once named (5744 ) among you , as becometh (5719 ) saints ; * Neither filthiness , nor foolish talking , nor jesting , which are not convenient (5723 ): but rather giving of thanks . * For this ye know (5748 ) (5723 ), that no whoremonger , nor unclean person , nor covetous man , who is (5748 ) an idolater , hath (5719 ) any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God . * Let no man deceive (5720 ) you with vain words : for because of these things cometh (5736 ) the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience . * Be not ye (5737 ) therefore partakers with them . * For ye were (5713 ) sometimes darkness , but now are ye light in the Lord : walk (5720 ) as children of light : * (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth ;) * Proving (5723 ) what is (5748 ) acceptable unto the Lord . * And have no fellowship (5720 ) with the unfruitful works of darkness , but rather reprove (5720 ) them . * For it is (5748 ) a shame even to speak (5721 ) of those things which are done (5740 ) of them in secret . * But all things that are reproved (5746 ) are made manifest (5743 ) by the light : for whatsoever doth make manifest (5746 ) is (5748 ) light . * Wherefore he saith (5719 ), Awake thou (5669 ) that sleepest (5723 ), and arise (5628 ) from the dead , and Christ shall give thee light (5692 ). * See (5720 ) then that ye walk (5719 ) circumspectly , not as fools , but as wise ,
