* Let us therefore fear (5680 ), lest , a promise being left (5746 ) us of entering (5629 ) into his rest , any of you should seem (5725 ) to come short of it (5760 ). * For unto us was (5748 ) the gospel preached (5772 ), as well as unto them : but the word preached did not profit (5656 ) them , not being mixed (5772 ) with faith in them that heard (5660 ) it . * For we which have believed (5660 ) do enter (5736 ) into rest , as he said (5758 ), As I have sworn (5656 ) in my wrath , if they shall enter (5695 ) into my rest : although the works were finished (5679 ) from the foundation of the world .
