* If they shall fall away (5631 ), to renew them (5721 ) again unto repentance ; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh (5723 ), and put him to an open shame (5723 ). * For the earth which drinketh in (5631 ) the rain that cometh (5740 ) oft upon it , and bringeth forth (5723 ) herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed (5743 ), receiveth (5719 ) blessing from God : * But that which beareth (5723 ) thorns and briers is rejected , and is nigh unto cursing ; whose end is to be burned . * But , beloved , we are persuaded (5769 ) better things of you , and things that accompany (5746 ) salvation , though we thus speak (5719 ). * For God is not unrighteous to forget (5635 ) your work and labour of love , which ye have shewed (5668 ) (5625 ) (5669 ) toward his name , in that ye have ministered (5660 ) to the saints , and do minister (5723 ). * And we desire (5719 ) that every one of you do shew (5733 ) the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end : * That ye be (5638 ) not slothful , but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit (5723 ) the promises .
