James:5:13-18

* Is any among you afflicted (5719 )? let him pray (5737 ). Is any merry (5719 )? let him sing psalms (5720 ). * Is any sick (5719 ) among you ? let him call (5663 ) for the elders of the church ; and let them pray (5663 ) over him , anointing (5660 ) him with oil in the name of the Lord : * And the prayer of faith shall save (5692 ) the sick (5723 ), and the Lord shall raise him up (5692 ); and if he have (5753 ) committed (5761 ) sins , they shall be forgiven (5701 ) him . * Confess (5732 ) your faults one to another , and pray (5737 ) one for another , that ye may be healed (5686 ). The effectual fervent (5734 ) prayer of a righteous man availeth (5719 ) much . * Elias was (5713 ) a man subject to like passions as we are , and he prayed (5662 ) earnestly that it might not rain (5658 ): and it rained (5656 ) not on the earth by the space of three years and six months . * And he prayed (5662 ) again , and the heaven gave (5656 ) rain , and the earth brought forth (5656 ) her fruit .
