* Also Jehovah hath sent to you all his servants the prophets , rising early and sending them ; but ye have not hearkened , nor inclined your ear to hear . * "Turn ye now ," said they , "every one from your evil way , and from your evil doings , and ye shall dwell in the land which Jehovah gave to you and to your fathers for ever and ever . * And go not after strange gods to serve them , and to worship them , and provoke me not to anger with the work of your hands ; and I will do you no hurt ."
