Job:23-24

gltv@Job:23:1 @ And answered and said:

gltv@Job:23:2 @ Even today my complaint is bitter; my hand is heavy over my groaning.

gltv@Job:23:3 @ Oh that I knew where I might find Him, I would come into His seat;

gltv@Job:23:4 @ I would order my cause before Him, and I would fill my mouth with arguments.

gltv@Job:23:5 @ I would know the words He would answer me, and understand what He would say to me.

gltv@Job:23:6 @ Would He plead against me with greatness of strength? No, surely He would put it in me.

gltv@Job:23:7 @ There the righteous might reason with Him; and I would be forever delivered from my Judge.

gltv@Job:23:8 @ Behold, I go forward, but He is not there; and backward, but I do not see Him;

gltv@Job:23:9 @ to the left where He works, but I cannot see; He turns to the right, but I do not see Him.

gltv@Job:23:10 @ But He knows the way with me. When I am tried, I shall come forth as gold.

gltv@Job:23:11 @ My foot has held fast in His steps; I have kept His way and have not turned;

gltv@Job:23:12 @ nor have I departed from the command of His lips; I treasured the words of His mouth more than my portion.

gltv@Job:23:13 @ But He is in one mind, and who can turn Him? Yea, His soul desires, and He does it.

gltv@Job:23:14 @ For He fulfilled my lot, and many like these are with Him.

gltv@Job:23:15 @ On account of this I am troubled from His presence; I consider, and am in dread of Him.

gltv@Job:23:16 @ For God makes my heart weak, and the Almighty troubles me.

gltv@Job:23:17 @ In this I was not cut off by darkness; yea, He covered the thick darkness from my face.

gltv@Job:24:1 @ Why since times are not hidden from the Almighty, even those knowing Him do not see His days?

gltv@Job:24:2 @ They move the landmarks; they seize and pasture flocks;

gltv@Job:24:3 @ If they drive away the ass of orphans; they take the widow's ox for a pledge;

gltv@Job:24:4 @ They turn the needy out of the way; the poor of the earth have hidden together.

gltv@Job:24:5 @ Behold, like wild asses in the desert, they go out in their work, seeking early for prey; the desert yields food for him for their young.

gltv@Job:24:6 @ They reap his fodder in the field, and they glean the wicked's vineyard.

gltv@Job:24:7 @ They lodge naked ones without clothing, and give no cover against the cold.

gltv@Job:24:8 @ They are wet with the showers of hills, and embrace the rock for lack of shelter.

gltv@Job:24:9 @ They seize the orphan from the breast, and lay a pledge on the poor.

gltv@Job:24:10 @ They make them go without clothing, and hungry they lift up the sheaves.

gltv@Job:24:11 @ They press out oil between their walls; they tread winepresses, but are thirsty.

gltv@Job:24:12 @ Men groan from out of the city, and the soul of the wounded cries for help; yet God does not charge unseemliness.

gltv@Job:24:13 @ They are among rebellers against light; they do not recognize His ways, nor do they stay in His paths.

gltv@Job:24:14 @ The murderer rising with the light kills the poor and needy, and in the night he is a thief.

gltv@Job:24:15 @ And the adulterer's eye keeps watch for twilight, saying, No eye will see me; and he puts a covering on his face.

gltv@Job:24:16 @ In the dark he digs through houses; they shut themselves up by day; they do not know the light.

gltv@Job:24:17 @ For alike are morning and the shadow of death to them; for he knows the terrors of death shadow.

gltv@Job:24:18 @ He is swift on the waters; their part is cursed in the earth; he does not face the way of the vineyards.

gltv@Job:24:19 @ Drought and heat eat up the snow waters; Sheol those who have sinned.

gltv@Job:24:20 @ The womb shall forget him; the worm shall suck on him; he shall be remembered no more; and injustice shall be broken like a tree.

gltv@Job:24:21 @ He ill treats the barren that bear not, and does no good to the widow.

gltv@Job:24:22 @ He also draws the mighty with his strength; He rises up, and no one is sure of life.

gltv@Job:24:23 @ He gives security to him, and he leans on it; yet His eyes are on their ways.

gltv@Job:24:24 @ They are lifted up for a little while, but they are not; and they are brought low; they are gathered in like all others, and wither like the heads of ears of grain.

gltv@Job:24:25 @ And if not, then who will prove me a liar, and make my speech into nothing?

gltv@Job:25:1 @ And Bildad the Shuhite answered and said:
