* Then Job answered LORD , and said , * I know that thou can do all things , and that no purpose of thine can be restrained . * Who is this who hides counsel without knowledge ? Therefore I have uttered that which I did not understand , things too wonderful for me , which I did not know . * Hear , I beseech thee , and I will speak , I will ask of thee , and declare thou to me . * I had heard of thee by the hearing of the ear , but now my eye sees thee . * Therefore I abhor [myself ], and repent in dust and ashes .
