* Philip findeth (5719 ) Nathanael , and saith (5719 ) unto him , We have found (5758 ) him , of whom Moses in the law , and the prophets , did write (5656 ), Jesus of Nazareth , the son of Joseph . * And Nathanael said (5627 ) unto him , Can (5736 ) there any good thing come (5750 ) out of Nazareth ? Philip saith (5719 ) unto him , Come (5736 ) and see (5657 ). * Jesus saw (5627 ) Nathanael coming (5740 ) to him , and saith (5719 ) of him , Behold an Israelite indeed , in whom is (5748 ) no guile ! * Nathanael saith (5719 ) unto him , Whence knowest thou (5719 ) me ? Jesus answered (5662 ) and said (5627 ) unto him , Before that Philip called (5658 ) thee , when thou wast (5752 ) under the fig tree , I saw (5627 ) thee .
