John:10:1-21

rkjnt@John:10:1 @ Truly, truly, I say to you, He who does not enter by the door into the sheepfold, but climbs in by some other way, he is a thief and a robber.

rkjnt@John:10:2 @ But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.

rkjnt@John:10:3 @ To him the gatekeeper opens; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calls his sheep by name, and leads them out.

rkjnt@John:10:4 @ And when he has brought out all his own, he goes before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.

rkjnt@John:10:5 @ A stranger they will not follow, but will flee from him: for they do not know the voice of strangers.

rkjnt@John:10:6 @ Jesus spoke this parable to them: but they did not understand what he was saying to them.

rkjnt@John:10:7 @ Then Jesus said to them again, Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep.

rkjnt@John:10:8 @ All who came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.

rkjnt@John:10:9 @ I am the door: if any man enters by me, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

rkjnt@John:10:10 @ The thief comes only to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I have come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

rkjnt@John:10:11 @ I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.

rkjnt@John:10:12 @ But he who is a hireling, and not the shepherd, who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming, and leaves the sheep, and flees: and the wolf attacks them, and scatters the sheep.

rkjnt@John:10:13 @ The hireling flees, because he is a hireling, and does not care for the sheep.

rkjnt@John:10:14 @ I am the good shepherd, and I know my own, and my own know me,

rkjnt@John:10:15 @ Just as the Father knows me, and I know the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.

rkjnt@John:10:16 @ And I have other sheep, which are not of this fold: I must bring them also, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.

rkjnt@John:10:17 @ Therefore my Father loves me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it up again.

rkjnt@John:10:18 @ No man takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it up again. This commandment I have received from my Father.

rkjnt@John:10:19 @ There was again a division among the Jews because of these words.

rkjnt@John:10:20 @ And many of them said, He has a devil, and is mad; why do you listen to him?

rkjnt@John:10:21 @ Others said, These are not the words of one who has a devil. Can a devil open the eyes of the blind?
