* "In solemn truth I tell you that whoever does not enter the sheepfold by the door , but climbs up some other way , that man is a thief and a robber ; * "but he who comes in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep . * "The porter opens the door for him ; the sheep listen to his voice ; and he calls his own sheep by name , and leads them out . * "When he has brought all his own sheep , he walks before them and the sheep follow him because they know his voice . * "But a stranger they will not follow , but flee from him , because they do not know the voice of strangers ." * Jesus told them this parable , but they did not understand what he was talking about ; so he said to them again . * "In solemn truth I tell you that I am the Door of the sheep .
