John:11:1-16
gltv@John:11:1 @ And there was a certain sick one, Lazarus from Bethany, of the village of Mary and her sister Martha.
gltv@John:11:2 @ And it was Mary who anointed the Lord with ointment and wiped His feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick.
gltv@John:11:3 @ Then the sisters sent to Him, saying, Lord, behold, the one whom You love is sick.
gltv@John:11:4 @ And hearing, Jesus said, This is not sickness to death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God be glorified by it.
gltv@John:11:5 @ And Jesus loved Martha and her sister and Lazarus.
gltv@John:11:6 @ Therefore, when He heard that he is sick, then, indeed, He remained in the place where He was two days.
gltv@John:11:7 @ Then after this He said to the disciples, Let us go to Judea again.
gltv@John:11:8 @ The disciples said to Him, Rabbi, just now the Jews were seeking to stone You, and do You go there again?
gltv@John:11:9 @ Jesus answered, Are there not twelve hours in the day? If anyone walks in the day, he does not stumble because he sees the light of the world.
gltv@John:11:10 @ But if anyone walks in the night, he stumbles because the light is not in him.
gltv@John:11:11 @ He said these things. And after this, He said to them, Our friend Lazarus has fallen asleep, but I am going that I may awaken him.
gltv@John:11:12 @ Then His disciples said, Lord, if he has fallen asleep, he will recover.
gltv@John:11:13 @ But Jesus had spoken about his death, but they thought that He spoke of the sleep of slumber.
gltv@John:11:14 @ Therefore, then Jesus said to them plainly, Lazarus has died.
gltv@John:11:15 @ And I rejoice because of you, in order that you may believe that I was not there. But let us go to him.
gltv@John:11:16 @ Then Thomas, he having been called Twin, said to the fellow disciples, Let us go, even we, that we may die with Him.
