* Jesus therefore , again shuddering in himself with indignation , came to the tomb , which was a cave with a stone lying upon it . * "Roll away the stone ," said Jesus . "Master ," said Martha , the sister of the dead man "he is offensive by this time , for he has been four days in the tomb ." * Jesus answered her , "Did I not tell you that if you would believe you should see the glory of God ?" * Then they rolled the stone away ; and Jesus lifted up his eyes and said . * "Father , I thank thee that thou hast listened to me . And I knew that thou art ever listening to me , but for the sake of the crowd who are standing about , I said it , in order that they may believe that thou hast sent me ." * When he had said this he cried with a great voice , "Lazarus , come forth !" * Out came the dead man , wrapped hand and foot with grave-clothes , and his face bound up in a napkin . Jesus said to them , "Untie him , and let him go ."
