* And Judas also , which betrayed (5723 ) him , knew (5715 ) the place : for Jesus ofttimes resorted (5681 ) thither with his disciples . * Judas then , having received (5631 ) a band of men and officers from the chief priests and Pharisees , cometh (5736 ) thither with lanterns and torches and weapons . * Jesus therefore , knowing (5761 ) all things that should come (5740 ) upon him , went forth (5631 ), and said (5627 ) unto them , Whom seek ye (5719 )? * They answered (5662 ) him , Jesus of Nazareth . Jesus saith (5719 ) unto them , I am (5748 ) he . And Judas also , which betrayed (5723 ) him , stood (5715 ) with them . * As soon then as he had said (5627 ) unto them , I am (5748 ) he , they went (5627 ) backward , and fell (5627 ) to the ground . * Then asked he (5656 ) them again , Whom seek ye (5719 )? And they said (5627 ), Jesus of Nazareth . * Jesus answered (5662 ), I have told (5627 ) you that I am (5748 ) he : if therefore ye seek (5719 ) me , let (5628 ) these go their way (5721 ):
