kjc@John:4:1 @ When therefore the LORD knew how the Pharisees had heard that Jesus made and baptized more disciples than John,

kjc@John:4:2 @ (Though Jesus himself baptized not, but his disciples,)

kjc@John:4:3 @ He left Judaea, and departed again into Galilee.

kjc@John:4:4 @ And he must needs go through Samaria.

kjc@John:4:5 @ Then comes he to a city of Samaria, which is called Sychar, near to the parcel of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph.

kjc@John:4:6 @ Now Jacob's well was there. Jesus therefore, being wearied with his journey, sat thus on the well: and it was about the sixth hour.

kjc@John:4:7 @ There comes a woman of Samaria to draw water: Jesus says unto her,

kjc@John:4:8 @ (For his disciples were gone away unto the city to buy food.)

kjc@John:4:9 @ Then says the woman of Samaria unto him, How is it that you, being a Jew, ask drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? for the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans.

kjc@John:4:10 @ Jesus answered and said unto her,

kjc@John:4:11 @ The woman says unto him, Sir, you have nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from where then have you that living water?

kjc@John:4:12 @ Are you greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank of it himself, and his children, and his cattle?

kjc@John:4:13 @ Jesus answered and said unto her,

kjc@John:4:15 @ The woman says unto him, Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not, neither come to here to draw.

kjc@John:4:16 @ Jesus says unto her,

kjc@John:4:17 @ The woman answered and said, I have no husband. Jesus said unto her,

kjc@John:4:19 @ The woman says unto him, Sir, I perceive that you are a prophet.

kjc@John:4:20 @ Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and you say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship.

kjc@John:4:21 @ Jesus says unto her,

kjc@John:4:25 @ The woman says unto him, I know that Messias comes, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things.
