John:4:27-38

* And upon this his disciples came . And they marveled that he spoke with the woman , yet no man said , What seek thou ? or , Why do thou speak with her ? * The woman therefore left her water pot , and departed into the city , and says to the men , * Come , see a man who told me all , as many things as I did . Is not this the Christ ? * They went out of the city , and came to him . * In the meanwhile the disciples asked him , saying , Rabbi , eat . * But he said to them , I have food to eat that ye know not . * The disciples therefore said to each other , Did any man bring him to eat ? * Jesus says to them , My food is that I do the will of him who sent me , and may finish his work . * Do ye not say , There are still four months and the harvest comes ? Behold , I say to you , lift up your eyes and see the fields , that they are already white for harvest . * And he who reaps receives a wage and gathers fruit for eternal life , so that both he who sows and he who reaps may rejoice together . * For in this the saying is true , One is who sows , and another who reaps . * I sent you to reap what ye have not labored . Others have labored , and ye have entered into their labor .
