John:6:1-15

mkjv@John:6:1 @ After these things Jesus went over the Sea of Galilee, [the Sea] of Tiberias.

mkjv@John:6:2 @ And a great multitude followed Him, because they saw His miracles which He did on the sick ones.

mkjv@John:6:3 @ And Jesus went up into a mountain and sat there with His disciples.

mkjv@John:6:4 @ And the Passover was near, a feast of the Jews.

mkjv@John:6:5 @ Then Jesus lifted up [His] eyes and saw a great crowd come to Him. He said to Philip, Where shall we buy loaves so that these may eat?

mkjv@John:6:6 @ And He said this to test him, for He Himself knew what He would do.

mkjv@John:6:7 @ Philip answered Him, Loaves for two hundred denarii are not enough for them, that every one may take a little.

mkjv@John:6:8 @ One of His disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter's brother, said to Him,

mkjv@John:6:9 @ There is a boy here who has five barley loaves and two small fish, but what are these among so many?

mkjv@John:6:10 @ And Jesus said, Make the men recline. And there was much grass in the place. So the men reclined, about five thousand in number.

mkjv@John:6:11 @ And Jesus took the loaves, and when He had given thanks, He distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to those who had reclined; and likewise of the fish, as much as they wanted.

mkjv@John:6:12 @ And when they were filled, He said to His disciples, Gather up the fragments left over, so that nothing is lost.

mkjv@John:6:13 @ Therefore they gathered and filled twelve handbaskets with fragments of the five barley loaves which were left over to those who had eaten.

mkjv@John:6:14 @ Then seeing the miracle that Jesus did, those men said, This is truly the Prophet, the [One] coming into the world.

mkjv@John:6:15 @ Therefore when Jesus perceived that they would come and take Him by force, that they might make Him a king, Jesus withdrew again to the mountain alone [by] Himself.
