tcent@John:7:1 @ After this Jesus went about in Galilee; he would not go about in Judea, because the Jews sought to kill him.

tcent@John:7:2 @ Now the Jews' feast of Tabernacles was at hand.

tcent@John:7:3 @ So his brothers said to him, »Leave here and go to Judea, that your disciples may see the works you are doing.

tcent@John:7:4 @ For no one works in secret if he seeks to be known openly. If you do these things, show yourself to the world.«

tcent@John:7:5 @ For even his brothers did not believe in him.

tcent@John:7:6 @ Jesus said to them, »My time has not yet come, but your time is always ready.

tcent@John:7:7 @ The world cannot hate you, but it hates me because I testify of it that its works are evil.

tcent@John:7:8 @ You go up to the feast. I am not yet going up to this feast, for my time has not yet fully come.«

tcent@John:7:9 @ Having said this, he remained in Galilee.

tcent@John:7:10 @ But after his brothers had gone up to the feast, then he also went up, not publicly, but in secret.

tcent@John:7:11 @ The Jews were looking for him at the feast, and saying, »Where is he?«

tcent@John:7:12 @ And there was much complaining among the people about him. Some said, »He is a good man«; others said, »No, on the contrary, he deceives the people.«

tcent@John:7:13 @ However, no one spoke openly of him for fear of the Jews.
