John:7:45-8:11




emtv@John:7:45 @ Then the attendants came to the chief priests and Pharisees, who said to them, "Why did you not bring Him?"

emtv@John:7:46 @ The attendants answered them, "No man ever spoke like this Man!"

emtv@John:7:47 @ Then the Pharisees answered them, "Have you also been deceived?

emtv@John:7:48 @ Have any of the rulers or the Pharisees believed in Him?

emtv@John:7:49 @ But this crowd which does not know the law is accursed."

emtv@John:7:50 @ Nicodemus (he who came to Him by night, being one of them) said to them,

emtv@John:7:51 @ Does our law judge a man before it hears from him first, and knows what he is doing?"

emtv@John:7:52 @ They answered and said to him, "Are you also from Galilee? Search and see, because no prophet has arisen out of Galilee."

emtv@John:7:53 @ And everyone went to his own house.

emtv@John:8:1 @ But Jesus went to the Mount of Olives.

emtv@John:8:2 @ And early in the morning, He came again into the temple, and all the people came to Him; and having sat down, He began to teach them.

emtv@John:8:3 @ Then the scribes and Pharisees brought to Him a woman who had been caught in adultery, and having stood her in [the] midst,

emtv@John:8:4 @ they said to Him, "Teacher, we found this [woman ]committing adultery, in the very act.

emtv@John:8:5 @ Now Moses, in our law, commanded to cast stones at such. Therefore what do You say?"

emtv@John:8:6 @ But this they said, testing Him, that they might have an accusation against Him. But Jesus, stooping down, began to write on the ground with His finger, not taking notice.

emtv@John:8:7 @ And while they were continuing questioning Him, rising up, He said unto them, "He who is without sin among you, let him [be the ]first to cast a stone at her."

emtv@John:8:8 @ And again He stooped down and wrote on the ground.

emtv@John:8:9 @ And those who heard [it] began to go out one by one, beginning with the oldest even to the last. And Jesus was left alone, and the woman being in the midst.

emtv@John:8:10 @ And standing up and seeing no one but the woman, Jesus said to her, "Woman, where are those accusers of yours? Has no one condemned you?"

emtv@John:8:11 @ She said, "No one, Lord."And Jesus said to her, "Neither do I condemn you; go, and from now on sin no more."
