John:8:24-58

* I said (5627 ) therefore unto you , that ye shall die (5695 ) in your sins : for if ye believe (5661 ) not that I am (5748 ) he , ye shall die (5695 ) in your sins . * Then said they (5707 ) unto him , Who art (5748 ) thou ? And Jesus saith (5627 ) unto them , Even the same that I said (5719 ) unto you from the beginning . * I have (5719 ) many things to say (5721 ) and to judge (5721 ) of you : but he that sent (5660 ) me is (5748 ) true ; and I speak (5719 ) to the world those things which I have heard (5656 ) of him . * They understood (5627 ) not that he spake (5707 ) to them of the Father . * Then said (5627 ) Jesus unto them , When ye have lifted up (5661 ) the Son of man , then shall ye know (5695 ) that I am (5748 ) he , and that I do (5719 ) nothing of myself ; but as my Father hath taught (5656 ) me , I speak (5719 ) these things . * And he that sent (5660 ) me is (5748 ) with me : the Father hath not left (5656 ) me alone ; for I do (5719 ) always those things that please him . * As he spake (5723 ) these words , many believed (5656 ) on him . * Then said (5707 ) Jesus to those Jews which believed (5761 ) on him , If ye continue (5661 ) in my word , then are ye (5748 ) my disciples indeed ; * And ye shall know (5695 ) the truth , and the truth shall make you free (5692 ). * They answered (5662 ) him , We be (5748 ) Abrahams seed , and were never in bondage (5758 ) to any man : how sayest (5719 ) thou , Ye shall be made (5695 ) free ? * Jesus answered (5662 ) them , Verily , verily , I say (5719 ) unto you , Whosoever committeth (5723 ) sin is (5748 ) the servant of sin . * And the servant abideth (5719 ) not in the house for ever : but the Son abideth (5719 ) ever . * If the Son therefore shall make you free (5661 ), ye shall be (5704 ) free indeed . * I know (5758 ) that ye are (5748 ) Abrahams seed ; but ye seek (5719 ) to kill (5658 ) me , because my word hath no place (5719 ) in you . * I speak (5719 ) that which I have seen (5758 ) with my Father : and ye do (5719 ) that which ye have seen (5758 ) with your father . * They answered (5662 ) and said (5627 ) unto him , Abraham is (5748 ) our father . Jesus saith (5719 ) unto them , If ye were (5713 ) Abrahams children , ye would do (5707 ) the works of Abraham . * But now ye seek (5719 ) to kill (5658 ) me , a man that hath told (5758 ) you the truth , which I have heard (5656 ) of God : this did (5656 ) not Abraham . * Ye do (5719 ) the deeds of your father . Then said they (5627 ) to him , We be not born (5769 ) of fornication ; we have (5719 ) one Father , even God . * Jesus said (5627 ) unto them , If God were (5713 ) your Father , ye would love (5707 ) me : for I proceeded forth (5627 ) and came (5719 ) from God ; neither came I (5754 ) of myself , but he sent (5656 ) me . * Why do ye not understand (5719 ) my speech ? even because ye cannot (5736 ) hear (5721 ) my word . * Ye are (5748 ) of your father the devil , and the lusts of your father ye will (5719 ) do (5721 ). He was (5713 ) a murderer from the beginning , and abode (5707 ) (5758 ) not in the truth , because there is (5748 ) no truth in him . When he speaketh (5725 ) a lie , he speaketh (5719 ) of his own : for he is (5748 ) a liar , and the father of it . * And because I tell (5719 ) you the truth , ye believe (5719 ) me not . * Which of you convinceth (5719 ) me of sin ? And if I say (5719 ) the truth , why do ye not believe (5719 ) me ? * He that is (5752 ) of God heareth (5719 ) Gods words : ye therefore hear (5719 ) them not , because ye are (5748 ) not of God . * Then answered (5662 ) the Jews , and said (5627 ) unto him , Say (5719 ) we not well that thou art (5748 ) a Samaritan , and hast (5719 ) a devil ? * Jesus answered (5662 ), I have (5719 ) not a devil ; but I honour (5719 ) my Father , and ye do dishonour (5719 ) me . * And I seek (5719 ) not mine own glory : there is (5748 ) one that seeketh (5723 ) and judgeth (5723 ). * Verily , verily , I say (5719 ) unto you , If a man keep (5661 ) my saying , he shall never see (5661 ) death . * Then said (5627 ) the Jews unto him , Now we know (5758 ) that thou hast (5719 ) a devil . Abraham is dead (5627 ), and the prophets ; and thou sayest (5719 ), If a man keep (5661 ) my saying , he shall never taste (5695 ) of death . * Art (5748 ) thou greater than our father Abraham , which is dead (5627 )? and the prophets are dead (5627 ): whom makest (5719 ) thou thyself ? * Jesus answered (5662 ), If I honour (5719 ) myself , my honour is (5748 ) nothing : it is (5748 ) my Father that honoureth (5723 ) me ; of whom ye say (5719 ), that he is (5748 ) your God : * Yet ye have not known (5758 ) him ; but I know (5758 ) him : and if I should say (5632 ), I know (5758 ) him not , I shall be (5704 ) a liar like unto you : but I know (5758 ) him , and keep (5719 ) his saying . * Your father Abraham rejoiced (5662 ) to see (5632 ) my day : and he saw (5627 ) it , and was glad (5644 ). * Then said (5627 ) the Jews unto him , Thou art (5719 ) not yet fifty years old , and hast thou seen (5758 ) Abraham ? * Jesus said (5627 ) unto them , Verily , verily , I say (5719 ) unto you , Before Abraham was (5635 ), I am (5748 ).
