Luke:1:67-80
noyes@Luke:1:67 @ And Zachariah his father was filled with the Holy Spirit, and prophesied, saying,
noyes@Luke:1:68 @ Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel! for he hath visited and redeemed his people,
noyes@Luke:1:69 @ and hath raised up a horn of salvation for us in the house of David his servant,
noyes@Luke:1:70 @ as he spoke by the mouth of his holy prophets of old,
noyes@Luke:1:71 @ salvation from our enemies, and from the hand of all that hate us,
noyes@Luke:1:72 @ to accomplish his mercy toward our fathers, and to remember his holy covenant,
noyes@Luke:1:73 @ the oath which he swore to Abraham our father,
noyes@Luke:1:74 @ to grant to us, that being delivered from the hand of our enemies, we might worship him without fear,
noyes@Luke:1:75 @ in holiness and righteousness before him, all our days.
noyes@Luke:1:76 @ And thou, child, shalt be called a prophet of the Most High; for thou shalt go in advance before the face of the Lord to prepare his ways,
noyes@Luke:1:77 @ to give knowledge of salvation to his people in the remission of their sins
noyes@Luke:1:78 @ through the tender mercy of our God, whereby the dayspring from on high hath visited us,
noyes@Luke:1:79 @ to give light to those sitting in darkness and the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.
noyes@Luke:1:80 @ And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit; and was in the deserts till the day of his manifestation to Israel.
