* And when the people were gathered thick together (5746 ), he began (5662 ) to say (5721 ), This is (5748 ) an evil generation : they seek (5719 ) a sign ; and there shall no sign be given (5701 ) it , but the sign of Jonas the prophet . * For as Jonas was (5633 ) a sign unto the Ninevites , so shall also the Son of man be (5704 ) to this generation . * The queen of the south shall rise up (5701 ) in the judgment with the men of this generation , and condemn (5692 ) them : for she came (5627 ) from the utmost parts of the earth to hear (5658 ) the wisdom of Solomon ; and , behold (5628 ), a greater than Solomon is here . * The men of Nineve shall rise up (5698 ) in the judgment with this generation , and shall condemn (5692 ) it : for they repented (5656 ) at the preaching of Jonas ; and , behold (5628 ), a greater than Jonas is here .
