* Blessed are those servants , whom the lord when he cometh (5631 ) shall find (5692 ) watching (5723 ): verily I say (5719 ) unto you , that he shall gird himself (5698 ), and make them to sit down to meat (5692 ), and will come forth (5631 ) and serve (5692 ) them . * And if he shall come (5632 ) in the second watch , or come (5632 ) in the third watch , and find (5632 ) them so , blessed are (5748 ) those servants . * And this know (5720 ), that if the goodman of the house had known (5715 ) what hour the thief would come (5736 ), he would have watched (5656 ), and not have suffered (5656 ) his house to be broken through (5650 ). * Be (5737 ) ye therefore ready also : for the Son of man cometh (5736 ) at an hour when ye think (5719 ) not . * Then Peter said (5627 ) unto him , Lord , speakest thou (5719 ) this parable unto us , or even to all ? * And the Lord said (5627 ), Who then is (5748 ) that faithful and wise steward , whom his lord shall make ruler (5692 ) over his household , to give (5721 ) them their portion of meat in due season ? * Blessed is that servant , whom his lord when he cometh (5631 ) shall find (5692 ) so doing (5723 ).
