*
There were present (
5713 )
at that season some that told (
5723 )
him of the Galilaeans ,
whose blood Pilate had mingled (
5656 )
with their sacrifices .
*
And Jesus answering (
5679 )
said (
5627 )
unto them ,
Suppose ye (
5719 )
that these Galilaeans were (
5633 )
sinners above all the Galilaeans ,
because they suffered (
5754 )
such things ?
*
I tell (
5719 )
you ,
Nay :
but ,
except ye repent (
5725 ),
ye shall all likewise perish (
5698 ).
*
Or those eighteen ,
upon whom the tower in Siloam fell (
5627 ),
and slew (
5656 )
them ,
think ye (
5719 )
that they were (
5633 )
sinners above all men that dwelt (
5723 )
in Jerusalem ?
*
I tell (
5719 )
you ,
Nay :
but ,
except ye repent (
5725 ),
ye shall all likewise perish (
5698 ).
*
He spake (
5707 )
also this parable ;
A certain man had (
5707 )
a fig tree planted (
5772 )
in his vineyard ;
and he came (
5627 )
and sought (
5723 )
fruit thereon ,
and found (
5627 )
none .
*
Then said he (
5627 )
unto the dresser of his vineyard ,
Behold (
5628 ),
these three years I come (
5736 )
seeking (
5723 )
fruit on this fig tree ,
and find (
5719 )
none :
cut it down (
5657 );
why cumbereth (
5719 )
it the ground ?
*
And he answering (
5679 )
said (
5719 )
unto him ,
Lord ,
let it alone (
5628 )
this year also ,
till I shall dig (
5661 )
about it ,
and dung (
5632 )
it :
*
And if it bear (
5661 )
fruit ,
well :
and if not ,
then after that (
5723 )
thou shalt cut it down (
5692 ).
