* And he laid his hands on (5656 ) her : and immediately she was made straight (5681 ), and glorified (5707 ) God . * And the ruler of the synagogue answered (5679 ) with indignation (5723 ), because that Jesus had healed (5656 ) on the sabbath day , and said (5707 ) unto the people , There are (5748 ) six days in which men ought (5748 ) to work (5738 ): in them therefore come (5740 ) and be healed (5744 ), and not on the sabbath day . * The Lord then answered (5662 ) him , and said (5627 ), Thou hypocrite , doth not each one of you on the sabbath loose (5719 ) his ox or his ass from the stall , and lead him away (5631 ) to watering (5719 )? * And ought (5713 ) not this woman , being (5752 ) a daughter of Abraham , whom Satan hath bound (5656 ), lo (5628 ), these eighteen years , be loosed (5683 ) from this bond on the sabbath day ? * And when he had said (5723 ) these things , all his adversaries (5740 ) were ashamed (5712 ): and all the people rejoiced (5707 ) for all the glorious things that were done (5740 ) by him .
