* And he ran (5631 ) before , and climbed up (5627 ) into a sycomore tree to see (5632 ) him : for he was (5707 ) to pass (5738 ) that way . * And when Jesus came (5627 ) to the place , he looked up (5660 ), and saw (5627 ) him , and said (5627 ) unto him , Zacchaeus , make haste (5660 ), and come down (5628 ); for to day I must (5748 ) abide (5658 ) at thy house . * And he made haste (5660 ), and came down (5627 ), and received (5662 ) him joyfully (5723 ). * And when they saw (5631 ) it , they all murmured (5707 ), saying (5723 ), That he was gone (5627 ) to be guest (5658 ) with a man that is a sinner . * And Zacchaeus stood (5685 ), and said (5627 ) unto the Lord ; Behold (5628 ), Lord , the half of my goods (5723 ) I give (5719 ) to the poor ; and if I have taken any thing from any man by false accusation (5656 ), I restore (5719 ) him fourfold . * And Jesus said (5627 ) unto him , This day is salvation come (5633 ) to this house , forsomuch as he also is (5748 ) a son of Abraham . * For the Son of man is come (5627 ) to seek (5658 ) and to save (5658 ) that which was lost (5756 ).
