* And he went (5631 ) into the temple , and began (5662 ) to cast out (5721 ) them that sold (5723 ) therein , and them that bought (5723 ); * Saying (5723 ) unto them , It is written (5769 ), My house is (5748 ) the house of prayer : but ye have made (5656 ) it a den of thieves . * And he taught (5713 ) (5723 ) daily in the temple . But the chief priests and the scribes and the chief of the people sought (5707 ) to destroy (5658 ) him , * And could not find (5707 ) what they might do (5661 ): for all the people were very attentive (5710 ) to hear (5723 ) him .
