* And at the season he sent (5656 ) a servant to the husbandmen , that they should give (5632 ) him of the fruit of the vineyard : but the husbandmen beat (5660 ) him , and sent him away (5656 ) empty . * And again (5639 ) he sent (5658 ) another servant : and they beat (5660 ) him also , and entreated him shamefully (5660 ), and sent him away (5656 ) empty . * And again (5639 ) he sent (5658 ) a third : and they wounded (5660 ) him also , and cast him out (5627 ). * Then said (5627 ) the lord of the vineyard , What shall I do (5661 )? I will send (5692 ) my beloved son : it may be they will reverence (5691 ) him when they see (5631 ) him . * But when the husbandmen saw (5631 ) him , they reasoned (5711 ) among themselves , saying (5723 ), This is (5748 ) the heir : come (5773 ), let us kill (5725 ) him , that the inheritance may be (5638 ) ours . * So they cast (5631 ) him out of the vineyard , and killed (5656 ) him . What therefore shall the lord of the vineyard do (5692 ) unto them ?
