ukjv@Luke:24:36 @ And as they thus spoke, Jesus himself stood in the midst of them, and says unto them, Peace be unto you.

ukjv@Luke:24:37 @ But they were terrified and affrighted, and supposed that they had seen a spirit. (o. pneuma)

ukjv@Luke:24:38 @ And he said unto them, Why are all of you troubled? and why do thoughts arise in your hearts?

ukjv@Luke:24:39 @ Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit (o. pneuma) has not flesh and bones, as all of you see me have.

ukjv@Luke:24:40 @ And when he had thus spoken, he showed them his hands and his feet.

ukjv@Luke:24:41 @ And while they yet believed not for joy, and wondered, he said unto them, Have all of you here any food?

ukjv@Luke:24:42 @ And they gave him a piece of a broiled fish, and of an honeycomb.

ukjv@Luke:24:43 @ And he took it, and did eat before them.

ukjv@Luke:24:44 @ And he said unto them, These are the words (o. logos) which I spoke unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.

ukjv@Luke:24:45 @ Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,

ukjv@Luke:24:46 @ And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it was essential for Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:

ukjv@Luke:24:47 @ And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

ukjv@Luke:24:48 @ And all of you are witnesses of these things.

ukjv@Luke:24:49 @ And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry all of you in the city of Jerusalem, until all of you be imbued with power from on high.
