mkjv@Luke:24:36 @ And as they spoke this, Jesus Himself stood in their midst, and said to them, Peace to you!

mkjv@Luke:24:37 @ But they were terrified and filled with fear, for they thought they saw a spirit.

mkjv@Luke:24:38 @ And He said to them, Why are you troubled, and why do thoughts arise in your hearts?

mkjv@Luke:24:39 @ Behold My hands and My feet, that I am He! Handle Me and see, for a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see Me have.

mkjv@Luke:24:40 @ And when He had spoken this, He showed them [His] hands and feet.

mkjv@Luke:24:41 @ And while they still did not believe for joy, and wondered, He said to them, Have you any food here?

mkjv@Luke:24:42 @ And they handed to Him a piece of a broiled fish and of a honeycomb.

mkjv@Luke:24:43 @ And He took [it] and ate before them.

mkjv@Luke:24:44 @ And He said to them, These [are] the words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things must be fulfilled which were written in the law of Moses and in the Prophets and [in] the Psalms about Me.

mkjv@Luke:24:45 @ And He opened their mind to understand the Scriptures.

mkjv@Luke:24:46 @ And He said to them, So it is written, and so it behoved Christ to suffer and to rise from [the] dead the third day,

mkjv@Luke:24:47 @ and that repentance and remission of sins should be proclaimed in His name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

mkjv@Luke:24:48 @ And you are witnesses of these things.

mkjv@Luke:24:49 @ And behold, I send the promise of My father on you. But you sit in the city of Jerusalem until you are clothed with power from on high.

mkjv@Luke:24:50 @ And He led them out as far as Bethany. And lifting up His hands, He blessed them.

mkjv@Luke:24:51 @ And it happened as He blessed them, He withdrew from them and was carried up into Heaven.

mkjv@Luke:24:52 @ And worshiping Him, they returned to Jerusalem with great joy.

mkjv@Luke:24:53 @ And they were continually in the temple, praising and blessing God. Amen.
