* And he brought (5627 ) him to Jerusalem , and set (5656 ) him on a pinnacle of the temple , and said (5627 ) unto him , If thou be (5748 ) the Son of God , cast (5628 ) thyself down from hence : * For it is written (5769 ), He shall give his angels charge (5699 ) over thee , to keep (5658 ) thee : * And in their hands they shall bear thee up (5692 ), lest at any time thou dash (5661 ) thy foot against a stone . * And Jesus answering (5679 ) said (5627 ) unto him , It is said (5769 ), Thou shalt not tempt (5692 ) the Lord thy God .
