* And he lifted up (5660 ) his eyes on his disciples , and said (5707 ), Blessed be ye poor : for yours is (5748 ) the kingdom of God . * Blessed are ye that hunger (5723 ) now : for ye shall be filled (5701 ). Blessed are ye that weep (5723 ) now : for ye shall laugh (5692 ). * Blessed are ye (5748 ), when men shall hate (5661 ) you , and when they shall separate (5661 ) you from their company , and shall reproach (5661 ) you , and cast out (5632 ) your name as evil , for the Son of mans sake . * Rejoice ye (5720 ) in that day , and leap for joy (5657 ): for , behold (5628 ), your reward is great in heaven : for in the like manner did (5707 ) their fathers unto the prophets . * But woe unto you that are rich ! for ye have received (5719 ) your consolation . * Woe unto you that are full (5772 )! for ye shall hunger (5692 ). Woe unto you that laugh (5723 ) now ! for ye shall mourn (5692 ) and weep (5692 ). * Woe unto you , when all men shall speak (5632 ) well of you ! for so did (5707 ) their fathers to the false prophets .
