* And it came to pass that on the next day , when they had come down from the mountain , a great multitude met him . * And lo ! a man from the multitude cried out , saying , Teacher , I beseech thee , look upon my son , for he is my only child ; * and lo ! a spirit seizeth him , and suddenly crieth out , and convulseth him so that he foameth , and it departeth from him hardly , taking away all his strength . * And I besought thy disciples to cast it out , and they could not . * And Jesus answering said , O unbelieving and perverse generation , how long shall I be with you , and bear with you ? Bring thy son hither . * And while he was yet coming , the demon threw him down , and convulsed him . But Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit , and healed the child , and delivered him to his father .
