* And they were (5713 ) in the way going up (5723 ) to Jerusalem ; and Jesus went (5713 ) before (5723 ) them : and they were amazed (5712 ); and as they followed (5723 ), they were afraid (5711 ). And he took (5631 ) again the twelve , and began (5662 ) to tell (5721 ) them what things should (5723 ) happen (5721 ) unto him , * Saying , Behold (5628 ), we go up (5719 ) to Jerusalem ; and the Son of man shall be delivered (5701 ) unto the chief priests , and unto the scribes ; and they shall condemn (5692 ) him to death , and shall deliver (5692 ) him to the Gentiles : * And they shall mock (5692 ) him , and shall scourge (5692 ) him , and shall spit upon (5692 ) him , and shall kill (5692 ) him : and the third day he shall rise again (5698 ).
