emtv@Mark:10:35 @ Then James and John, the sons of Zebedee, came to Him, saying, "Teacher, we desire that You to do for us whatever we may ask."

emtv@Mark:10:36 @ And He said to them, "What do you desire Me to do for you?"

emtv@Mark:10:37 @ They said to Him, "Grant us that we may sit, one on Your right side and one on Your left side, in Your glory."

emtv@Mark:10:38 @ But Jesus said to them, "You do not know what you are asking. Are you able to drink the cup which I drink, and to be baptized with the baptism [with ]which I am baptized?"

emtv@Mark:10:39 @ They said to Him, "We are able."So Jesus said to them, "You will indeed drink the cup which I drink, and with the baptism [with ]which I am baptized you will be baptized [with];

emtv@Mark:10:40 @ but to sit on My right hand and on My left is not Mine to give, but [to those] for whom it has been prepared."

emtv@Mark:10:41 @ And having heard this, the ten began to be indignant with James and John.

emtv@Mark:10:42 @ But Jesus, having called them to [Himself], said to them, "You know that those being reputed to be ruling the Gentiles lord it over them, and their great ones exercise authority over them.

emtv@Mark:10:43 @ Yet it will not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you shall be your servant.

emtv@Mark:10:44 @ And whoever of you desires to be first shall be servant of all.

emtv@Mark:10:45 @ For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life[ ]a ransom for many."
